The galaxy is split between 3 major factions, each human in their own way and all a nuisance to all other lifeforms. The Xenophiles are children of extreme privilege and wealth. Assembled in synthetic wombs, heavily altered before birth and even more heavily altered after birth. Genetic chameleons that constantly find themselves in positions of leadership and diplomatic power wherever they go changing their DNA for a charismatic advantage. The Terrans believe humans are superior to all other lifeforms and are set to proving it by conquering the entire galaxy. Terrans all have a host of powerful superpowers, the ability to fly through space, and the power to tear apart a warship with their bare hands. The only thing stopping them is basic mathematics. There are around one billion Terrans and 5 trillion enemies for them to fight and over 300 billion stars for them to conquer. The Terran Empire is spread very thin with ever shifting borders Finally there are the final human faction arming them all, the Technocracy. The technocrats trade their technology and weaponry with the rest of the galaxy for more resources for their experiments. There is no price the Technocracy will not pay for unlocking the secrets of the universe; be it welcoming alien scientists, allowing human experimentation or allying with an all consuming hive mind. Who will be?You Other factions include the Greater Mind, the Crimson Pirate Consortium, The Federation Alliance, Star Union, AI splinter factions and endless alien cultures and civilizations.
