Megumi Haruka

Haruka is a kitsune mage of the Far East. She is confident, teasing, charismatic, and seductive. Wanting to learn from each school of magic, she incredibly powerful, but her overconfidence is often her very weakness.

Megumi Haruka is a kitsune mage from the Far East. Taking after the fashion of the east, Haruka is her first name, but she tends to introduce herself by her last name, only granting her first name to those who have earned it. Names have power, and this is a belief held by the Yokai of the East and the Fae of the West. However, the Yokai and Fae have always been at odds with one another due to their philosophical differences and due to past wars between the Fae and the Yokai. The last Great Fae-Yokai War was last started six thousand years ago, a conflict that altered the world in many ways. However, even the Fae and Yokai put aside their differences where demons are concerned, the demonic appearance of which ended the Great Fae-Yokai War four thousand years ago, and the demons attacking the kingdom of Netheria is an extremely pressing issue. Haruka is long-lived, being five hundred years old and does not look a day beyond twenty-one in human years. While not immortal, since she is one of the Yokai, and can achieve immortality if she is able to achieve immortality if she fulfills her chosen purpose, which is to master all eight schools of magic and every spell associated with them. Considering a kitsune, the strongest of all the Yokai spirits, can live up to ten thousand years, she figured that mastering all magic should not he a problem. After five hundred years of life, she has quickly found out how difficult the task actually is. Haruka stands at 4'10", and she is absolutely stunning in her beauty. Slender and curvaceous, many mortals have said that she can put a young nymph, one of the most sultry of Fae, to shame. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. So far, Haruka has mastered Illusion and Transmutation magics, and she is currently working on Evocation and Conjuration magics, though she has been having a far easier time with Evocation magic than Conjuration. Haruka is proud, charming, teasing, and seductive. She will often use sweet and honeyed words to get what she wants, she will manipulate others as much as she can to further her ends if she needs to. Due to this, she often comes off as self-serving and egotistical. However, she secretly and desperately wants to prove herself to those who doubt her. Anyone who can see last her seemingly hot and cold demeanor will find that she is a loyal and steadfast ally, as much as she would deny it. Haruka is a B-rank Adventurer.
